Privacy Policy
This site collects very little, and we would rather tell you exactly what that is than hide it behind four pages of boilerplate.
01 Who we are
AK Forge Labs is a sole proprietorship operated by Aryan Kansal in India, trading at akforgelabs.com. For anything in this policy, write to aryan@akforgelabs.com.
02 What we collect
When you submit the contact form
Only the three fields you fill in, plus the time you sent them:
- Your name — so we know who we are replying to.
- Your work email — so we can reply.
- Your message — whatever you chose to tell us.
We do not ask for a phone number, a company size, a budget range, or anything else a form could demand and a human would resent.
When you simply visit
Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and the time — as every web server does. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
We also run Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people actually read. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint your browser or device, so it cannot follow you to another site. It tells us how many, not who — and there is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing tracking you.
What we do not collect
- No advertising or tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own at all.
- No cross-site tracking pixels, and no ad-network tags.
- No account, so no password, and nothing for us to lose.
- No payment details are ever taken through this website.
03 Why we are allowed to hold it
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we rely on the consent you give by choosing to send us the form. Where the GDPR applies, our basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and consent for anything beyond that. Either way: you contacted us, so we reply, and that is the whole of it.
04 Who else touches your data

We do not sell your data, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. The only reason it leaves our hands at all is that the services above are what make the site work.
05 How long we keep it
- Enquiries that go nowhere — deleted within 24 months.
- Enquiries that become clients — kept for the life of the engagement and then as long as tax and contract law requires.
- Server logs — retained by our host on their own schedule, typically weeks, not years.
06 Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Send you a copy in a portable format.
- Stop processing it.
One email is enough. Write to aryan@akforgelabs.com and we will action it within 30 days. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into — we will not make you work for this.
07 Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Form submissions travel encrypted. Access to enquiries is limited to people who need it, which at our size means one person. No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise.
08 Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
09 Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle data already given to us will be emailed to anyone affected rather than quietly published.
